The weakness of the traditional Strategic Planning model is its reliance on 5 year roadmaps that are heavily prescriptive and do not adjust quickly. Adaptive Strategic Planning takes the intention of the traditional model and incorporates an iterative approach that recognizes and plans for change.

My guiding principle is solving interesting problems with interesting people.

I’m the founder of Alignex, an agency devoted to helping leaders create sustainable change in their operations. I believe in steering organizations towards the humanity of their teams and customers.

The recurrent challenge i’ve observed in 15 years across many hospitality and service industries is the difficulty in aligning the goals of different levels of an organization. Change is hard, but it helps to have experienced advice. The purpose of Alignex is to work with small to mid sized companies to design workplaces that are rooted in individuality and collaboration, and are built to grow the right way over time.

As a dad, carpenter, community organizer, artist and partner, I firmly believe that an integral part of successful organizations is creating a workplace that sees diversity in experience and outlook as a strength and is structured to utilize that strength.

Transparent Rates

  • An initial conversation about your business. We use the Octagon Diagnosis Model to assess the operations areas of your organization and create a picture of where you are today.

  • Scope of work for this rate tier includes any work that is done in support of your project, offsite and outside any program build parameters.

  • The standard rate for onsite and remote meetings or time put into program builds

  • Any instance where we are acting as a representative of your company, internally or externally.

  • If you prefer to structure your invoicing as a total project, we are happy to provide a quote during agreement of services.

Different types of work have different values. Our rate structure is sensitive to value perception and the added value that specific projects bring to business.

All invoices are delivered digitally and include daily breakouts for items associated with rates.
